Seongnam Arts Center was inaugurated on Oct. 14th 2005 and has ever since provided high quality performances, exhibitions and trend-setting cultural programs. As of June 13, 2012, a total of 3,917,314 people have visited Seongnam Arts Center to attend shows and exhibitions. Including the other cultural institutes in the city, such as Book Theme Park, Seongnam Civic Center and Seongnam Culture Center, the total number of visitors reach 6,672,031, which is more than 6.5 times that of the population of Seongnam. Such an accomplishment was attributable to those culture and art lovers who gave encouragement and sharp but caring advice to Seongnam Arts Center.

Going forward, Seongnam Arts Center will strive to become a leading cultural institute on par with world-class art centers and change the cultural landscape of Korea through differentiated and high-quality programs. In order to realize the vision, the Patrons Association was established as a win-win network where Seongnam Arts Center joins hands with the leaders of society and the lovers of culture and arts.

Seongnam Arts Center hopes to continue its growth on the back of the support and interests of the Patrons Association and the Association, in return, will hopefully take more pride and honor along with the growth of the Center.
